Depends what it's : Being used for. In many cases, it may have no advantages. as a 3rd generation cephalosporin, one possible advantage is that is it effective in treat gram neg organisms, particularly pseudomonas. It is a broad spectrum anti-biotic and is used to treat many types of bacterial infections. Administration is IV or IM. if you're being prescribed this anti-biotic, ask u're MD abt advantages in ur case :) ...Read more
