No: Centipedes are not dangerous to humans and definitely can't cause labor. The most serious thing would be a local reaction at the site of a bite, if, in fact, the centipede bit you. You would know if you were having an allergic reaction to a bite as your skin would redden, possibly swell. To control the itch, there are many over the counter itch creams are available including Hydrocortisone (which i don't think works very well) and non-steroid containing medicated creams like gold bond lotion (which i personally like much better).
