Probably safe : I have seen renal failure from inappropriate creatine supplementation. I use creatine myself but on an intermittent basis such as every other day. I think this helps protect the kidneys and I've had no problem. Overall it should be safe if you follow instructions. Realistically the strength gains are modest at best from the supplement.
