Can someone taking 150mg wellbutrin (bupropion) for post partum depression also take nortriptyline for fibromyalgia ?
Yes: But realize there is a slight increase in the risk of seizures. I don' t know your nortriptyline dose, but i would make sure a blood level is checked several weeks after the wellbutrin (bupropion) is added in to make sure you don't have excessively high levels. Best wishes to you. ...Read moreSee 1 more doctor answer
Probably: Cymbalta (duloxetine) for depression is fine. I find no indication for the use of Naltrexone in depression. If you are referring to just having to use the two at the same time, i find no contraindication for using the two together, ie, no drug to drug interaction. Both drugs are for serious illness and make shure you thoroughly discuss this with your pcp, addiction md, other provider or pharmacist/pharmd. ...Read moreSee 2 more doctor answers
