Probably: Although the sulfur molecule is in Celebrex (celecoxib), (celecoxib) only a few people with allergies to sulfa antibiotics also react to Celebrex (celecoxib). The allergy appears to be related to a special form of sulfur at the molecular level. This form isn't present in non-antibacterial meds with sulfur in them. The 1st is allergy to the class of non steroidal anti-inflammatories, e.g. ibuprofen, etc. This allergy is of the typical kind with rash, itching on the trunk, neck and extremities.
