I have health anxiety, and in doing a full course of high intense cbt which meds are the best to help aswell as I don't think cbt is working?

Try again!: Depression can be treatment resistant. Or sometimes a doctor patient pair isn't well suited to one another. Sometimes when a pt is depressed they may feel all past tx didn't work, when it may have at times, but depression obscures this. Go back to your doc or seek out another. There are so many treatments available that I'm sure a pharmacologic & psychotherapeutic regimen will work for you. ...Read more

Not necessarily: Generally, the combination of cbt and medication is better than either alone. Using cbt tools may be help with preventing recurrence of whatever it is you have.
