Friend 45 yr old ultrasound swollen spleen pancreas and liver blood work fine liver area hurts what are the possibilities of cause?
Possibly from liver: If there is splenomegaly, one cause would be congested blood backing up from the liver venous circulation. The GI or hepatologist need to be involved to find the cause, benign or from other causes need to ruled out. Blood work may not show causes but a team with radiologist, internist, gastroenterologist need to look at your friend in the whole to evaluate causes and recommend course of actionSee 1 more doctor answer

Left foot is always mildly swollen but swells up a lot when drinking beer. What could be the cause? Liver and kidney blood tests were fine.
Dilation of veins: Most likely you are fine and the swelling is just due to dilation of the veins in the leg and is caused by alcohol. But if its painful, you drink more than 5 drinks/day, you have protein in your urine (your doc may have checked a urinalysis) or you have had any injuries to your left leg then you may need to be seen and have someone look a little deeper.
40yr lady complain pain lt lumber u/s show swollen bowel loop, faty infiltratd liver fibroid uterus, kidney contain concretion, what is cause n management?
Multiple issues: Swollen bowel loop--i don't understand description but this could be diverticulosis or an ileum. Fatty liver: chronic condition associated with obesity and diabetes, can cause cirrhosis over time. Fibroid uterus: common in 40 year old women kidney concretion: I have no idea but maybe this is calcium deposited in the kidney. No 1 diagnosis puts all of these together. You need to see your doctor.

Need more info...: Is the swelling of arms and feet even & symmetrical? Do you have short of breath? . .. more? Intestines uterus: As we age there is less muscle and our intestines and other organs can seem to protrude. Also, the elderly can sometimes appear to be swollen due to constipation and women can have a prominent lower abdomen due to a large uterus or fibroids. Other reasons include hernias of the belly button or from a previous incision on the belly.
"Swollen pimple": If a little red raised bump on your body you initially thought was a pimple starts to swell, it may be a signs of an infection, especially if there is associated redness & tenderness. These may progress to more advanced infections. After you are examined, your doctor will be able to decide on specific treatments, such as antibiotics or incision & drainage. These are easier to treat if done soon.
Fatty food/gallstone: Intermittent swelling of your abdomen may be related to fatty foods and gallstones. Dinner is usually the highest fat meal. Fat triggers gallbladder to squeeze, empty its load of digestive bile into your GI tract. If you have gallstones, dietary fat triggers an abnormal system and bloating/swelling occur. Ultrasound can be diagnostic. Others causes: constipation, gastric bloat, mass.

I'm having pain and bloating in my. My lower right abdomen is swollen with sharp yet dual pain and the other side is fine what can cause this?
Not usually. . .: Uti = urinary tract infection, which is either bladder or kidney. All include frequent burning urination w/sense of urgency. Kidney infections add fever & one-sided back pain to above. Swollen belly is not part of definition. Go see your doctor if you think you might a UTI which needs antibiotics to be cured.
Yes: Yes if persistent. Especially if they are associated with symptoms such as fever, night sweat, weight loss, etc and no other causes to explain. In the younger age group, germ cell tumors can also be a possibility. Of course, they are many benign reasons. My point is that persistent swollen lymph node is a concern and should be evaluated by doctor.

Spleen: Your spleen is on the left only so it could not cause pain on your right. Your liver sits on your right side.See 1 more doctor answer
