Very doubtful: It is unlikely that sexual abstinence or celibacy (they aren't the same) causes prostatitis. Several aspects of that theory make no sense at all. Also, defining prostatitis isn't easy -- for example, look up "chronic pelvic pain syndrome" and compare with prostatitis.
