Causes Of Urethral Discharge
Swollen urethra and vagina after sex. Burning sensation while I use the restroom, no odor nor discharge. Std? Uti? Reaction to condom?
See answer: Such symptoms could be caused by any of the above: UTI (usually burning with urination, urgency, frequency); std (gc, chlamydia most common), vaginitis (though usually associated with a discharge), or allergy to a contraceptive, spermicide, or lubricant. If symptoms occur right after sex within hours, allergy or trauma related to vigorous/prolonged sex most likely. If symptoms persist, see your md. ...Read moreSee 1 more doctor answer

I am experiencing urethral discharge and penis pain. The following also describes me: Pain with urination. What should I do? Is it possible if having these symptoms and it be unrelated to sex
See a doc: You need a formal evaluation, an urethral discharge in a 20 year old male definitely warrants STD check up. A lot of young adults are asymptomatic; risks are for gonorrhoea and chlamydia. It is in my opinion more important to find out what you have and help you get better. For that you will need to be seen and they will need to run some tests on the discharge or urine most likely; be safe. -Peace. ...Read more

Female with urethral white discharge at least once a month for a week, last sexual encounter 3years ago, what could be the cause? No other symptoms
Tested pos for BV. Could this be the cause of my bladder, pelvic, urethra pain for past 2 months? I have NO discharge, NO odor. No UTI, by the way.
Probably unrelated: Asymptomatic BV is common, and normally not treated in the absence of symptoms. BV is not a cause of bladder, pelvic or urethral pain. I'm afraid you'll have to continue working with your doctor on this. I would understand trying BV treatment with metronidazole, as a trial with fingers crossed. But I really would not expect this to improve your various symptoms. Good luck! ...Read more

I have been having burning while urinating & a yellow discharge coming from urethra what causes other than a std could this be I hope its not ?
Urethritis: Most of these symptoms I'm afraid are STD related. Gonorrhea and chlamydia come to mind. There are of course others, but these would be less likely. In some cases, you could have a problem within the urethra itself - but I think 'common things are common' and you should get checked for an STD. The good news is, these are curable, and you can go back to normal healthy living after treatment. See MD ...Read more
