Unlikely the cause: Discs are the cushions between the vertebrae of the spine and with trauma or aging, the gel center of the disc can protrude, causing it to collapse and put pressure on the spinal canal and cord and nerves and sciatica. Sciatica?: Unlikely to be vascular given symptoms. Seems like you're describing a radicular pain pattern ie sciatica. Could be a pinched nerve in the spine. If recommend you see a physician to be worked up appropriately. ...Read more

More info needed: Pain in the leg can be from trauma itself to the muscle or bone. It can be from nerve compression, from a blocked deep vein or blocked outflow of lymphatic fluid.
