Answer is YES: Head trauma can be a cause of tics be they transient or otherwise. But Caution-you should not confuse tics with twitches AND other things aside from "mild knocks" to the head can cause "tics" especially if they really are twitches or even jerky muscle movements such as seizures and metabolic problems.
