Nerve issue: If the tingling is within the distribution of a cutaneous nerve then it's possible that that nerve is being pinched somewhere. The tingling of hyperventilation is due to changes in calcium in your blood so if the symptom is similar to hyperventilation then calcium levels should be checked.
