Decay, nerve damage: When you say "tingling nerves, " it is hard to know if you mean a sensitivity, such as when you are eating or chewing, or a sensation all the time. Have a dentist check and an x-ray of the area you are experiencing the sensation to rule out decay, a fracture or nerve damage.

Can numbness and tingling in teeth be cause from anxiety?

Can numbness and tingling in teeth be cause from anxiety?

Prime suspect!: When the usual suspects are rounded up, Anxiety is almost always there. The limits to charges brought against this culprit seem limitless and it is often guilty. Anxiety may not do the dirty work directly, but your experience of distress is the result of complex internal events. I urge CBT therapy - if they think meds will help they'll refer. Investigate and prosecute. See a dentist too! Best.

What would cause a tingling sensation on the floor of mouth? Feeling moved to inside of gums below bottom teeth, tongue, and face below lips above chin

Rather than guess: These types of situations require a personal clinical evaluation, along with some x-rays to determine cause. A proper diagnosis is recommended rather than a list of possibilities which are pure guesses made over the internet. Set up an appointment with your local dentist.

Hi. Was trying to sleep, grinding teeth off/on then felt burning sensation & tingling near temple area. Then in bed, woke up. Palpations, & tingling, burning ache everywhere? Could TMJ cause this?

TMJ not the cause: TMJ would not be a cause of palpitations and aching all over. Why not clear the TMJ? Draw a vertical line on your mirror. Practice relaxing your jaw so that it opens midline. See www. Grossaninstitute. Com for more details.

What can cause a tickling sensation between my teeth?

What can cause a tickling sensation between my teeth?

Tickling teeth: This is curious. The first thing that comes to mind is that there may be an irritant nearby the gums/teeth causing that "tickling" sensation. One suggestion would be to write down foods that you eat, toothpastes etc. That you use. You may be reacting to something recently introduced into your diet or teeth cleaning regimen. I think it would be best to visit your dentist for an evaluation.

Can tmj/dental cause tingling numbness in chin, jaw and lips. I have polyneuropathy. Wasn't sure if its that or the dental. I do have dental issues.

Can tmj/dental cause tingling numbness in chin, jaw and lips. I have polyneuropathy. Wasn't sure if its that or the dental. I do have dental issues.

Doubtful: Tingling and numbness are not typical symptoms of tmd. I would recommend that you see a dentist to address all your dental issues and evaluate your tmjoints, etc. I am assuming that you are under the care of a physician for the polyneuropathy who can address the medical issues.
