Causes Of Tingling In Both Calves
What could cause achy calves and tingling in feet? It has been happening for a week or so. I haven't been doing any unusual exercise recently.
I have tingling going down both arms and back. Sometimes in the legs. It's worse with activity or at end of day. What could cause this?
Tingling: Tingling usually is the result of nerve compression and is dependent on position or what you do. It can improve on its own, by avoiding the compression. If in both arms and legs, the problem could be in the spine, maybe from a prior injury. Also consider B12 deficiency, diabetes or thyroid disease. Other nerve damage could be the cause as well. Tricky: Ok, there's two main distributions of nerve problems: outward along an (injured) nerve or inward from the tips of (sick) nerves. Nerve problems in the middle of limbs.. all four....would not be a regular nerve distribution. Muscle weakness from electrolytes (K, Ca, Mag), sick muscles. No, not fitting with standard patterns. Neurologist would be a specialist in this sort of condition. ...Read more
What else can cause sciatica and tingling in both legs, numbness in both feet, when MRI says broad based disc bulge at l4, L5 and spine dr says looks normal and the bulge isnt causing my symptoms! help?
Leg tingling: Other options: poor circulation, peripheral neuropathy (diabetes or other causes), or compression outside the spinal canal. If in question, sometimes ct myelogram will show pathology better. Emg/nerve conductions also may help. ...Read moreSee 2 more doctor answers
