Pain on the left rib: region is likely not related to the gall bladder b/c the gall bladder is located underneath the lower Rt. rib cage. Gall stones are very common and inflammation of the gall bladder can be aggravated by eating fatty foods. Avoiding fatty foods helps to reduce the frequency of gall bladder attacks.
