I have a swollen meatus on penis. What has caused this and does it go away ? It is also red but has very little pain.
See your PCP: I can understand your concern for the swollen meatus. Urethritis is inflammation of the urethra. It can be gonoccocal or non gonoccocal. My son is 3 and is circumcised but this evening while potty I noticed his penis is red and swollen. What could be the cause?
Few possibilities: Inflammation of the penis can be related to conditions such as balanitis (swelling of the head of the penis) balanoposthitis (inflammation of foreskin and head of penis in uncircumcised males). It also can be due to urethral irritation or infection. Redness and/or swelling of the penis needs examination. Further evaluation by a physician is needed. ...Read more

Masterbated earlier in the morning, showered and now at work I went to pee and notice that my penis is swollen and flacid. What could cause this?
Penis swollen: Keith67~ the penis is a frail and vulnerable organ and though demanding of heavy handling, does not respond well to it. Just give your penis a day or 2 to catch up with you and it will be back to its usual self both in looks and function! But be gentle and know that even the most rugged of penises does need respite. Dont worry. All will be fine with a short break ! :-)) ...Read more

Could excessive and rough masturbation cause balanitis penis aches after masturbation and is in pain and is red and scarred and appears swollen?
Certainly can be: That certainly could be the cause (though i'm not sure what you mean by "scarred"). If the symptoms don't resolve after stopping for a few days, i would certainly recommend seeing a physician to make sure nothing else is going on. But swelling and redness can definitely occur on the penis just like they can on any other body part that is used "excessively." good luck to you! ...Read more
I have what looks like a swollen lymph node on the shaft of my penis and my tip kinda burns. Would this be caused by masturbation or something else?
Not enough ...: The node on penile shaft most likely is a hyperactive sebaceous gland or cyst which is harmless & hair-follicle-related, & requires no active care unless being mentally or/& physically bothersome. As to burning at penile tip, for 20-y-o man,, esp. if sexually active with multiple partners or homosexual, always consider possible STD-related urethritis. Is it related with masturbation? History tells ...Read more
