Causes Of Swollen Nipple
What is the main cause for swollen nipples and low sex drive in men? As I started getting both these I’m afraid it might be low testosterone and high estrogen. What should the next step be?
HCG vs Prolactin:
A few possibilities:
2) elevated prolactin which is the hormone that induces lactation
for 1, get a pregnancy test for home use in your pharmacy, 2 your physician can test for this hormone, particularly if you have a discharge or milk coming out of your nipples, and 3 if you are in the last week before your menses. ...Read more

Swollen bump under chin to left, tender left breast, sore left nipple with cracks, tingling under left collarbone to nipple cause itch. Is it all related?
Probably unrelated: The lump under the chin could be an enlarged lymph node or swollen salivary gland and if it doesn't recede within a week or if it increases in size or new lumps appear, get examined by an ENT specialist. Dryness and cracks in a nipple aren't unusual but that and the tingling in the chest appears to be separate issues. Left breast tissue may be congested and hormone related but get checked for it. ...Read more
On my upper chest by the sternum/collarbone it's painful to touch and swollen. What could be the cause?
17 years of age. Chest feels like it's bruised and a little swollen, never did anything to cause this. Never noticed until I touched my chest.
It depends on size: Unless these nodes are large (more than 2cm) you do not need to worry. But many diseases affect lymph nodes. Some of the considerations include infections (tb, sarcoid, fungal infections), lymph gland cancers like lymphomas or cancer spread from the lungs or elsewhere in the body. But I would not worry unless they are large enough as the radiologists often over read them anytime they are >0.5cm. ...Read more

Can GERD cause lightheaded feeling and swollen glands? I am a 41 year old female, have a hiatal hernia. Feeling like food is stuck in chest as well.
Unlikely: I would see a doctor about the swollen glands and lightheadedness. Unlikely related to hh. Hiatal hernia and acid reflux could cause the esophagus to spasm or even develop scar tissue and narrowing. This would cause the feeling of food sticking or catching. I would see your doctor about getting a test to check your esophagus. If not already taking acid medication twice a day, recommend doing so. ...Read more
