How accurate is a d dimmer test.Had 2 were negative..My left leg is still a little swollen and a little red some pain. What can cause these symptoms?
Pretty good: A ddimer, if negative is very accurate. There are many conditions that cause a positive ddimer, but clots nearly always do. Other things that can cause leg swelling maybe heart failure but you are a little young for that also infections in the leg such as cellulitis can cause this. In rare cases there can be something compressing vessels in pelvis causing this. Go see doctor. ...Read moreSee 1 more doctor answer
