This is probably: NOT a lymph node if its "on" your back it sounds more like a sebaceous cyst (plugged sweat gland") This needs to be seen and a definitive Diagnosis made before treatment is advised!

Give it time: Seems like a good wack...a contusion.
Ice it 20 minutes every 2 hours for 3-4 days and then go to heat. Use Ibuprofen or Tylenol (acetaminophen). Keep up with range of motion and in 3-6 weeks it will go away.
If you hit the bony part of the back it can hurt pretty deeply for weeks. You might have hematoma but the above treatment will care for that too, . ...Read more
