Was there: any trauma? More information is needed. It is unusual to have a single knuckle (finger JOINT) enlargement without trauma..(arthritic disorders usually invlove multiple joints. Maybe: It's possible you have tendonitis or inflammation along the tendon sheath, but it's best to get an xray to see if broken, then decide if ot/hand therapy is needed. ...Read more
