37y-f. Being treated for acid reflux infection & myoplasma infection since 2wk. Sudden painful swelling on left side of chest, under armpit since yest?
This may be: Completely unrelated to your other issues but is certainly something that should be brought to the attention of your health care provider. It sounds like the development of lymph node swelling or an infection. Either way it should be seen and evaluated. Make an appointment for today.
Swelling is the enlargement of organs, skin, or other body parts. It is caused by a buildup of fluid in the tissues. The extra fluid can lead to a rapid increase in weight over a short period of time (days to weeks). Swelling can occur all over the body (generalized) or only in one part ...Read more
Sharp stabbing pain left side of chest 1-2 ribs below breast. Started yesterday. Noticed some small swelling today that is sensitive to touch. Hurts to breathe, raise left arm, bend, twist, cough, laugh. 36 y/o male. Was driving when it hit suddenly and
Go see ur FamilyDoc: Sensitivity to touch makes me think of zoster/shingles (http://goo. Gl/TaqS6s). Without that, I think of pleurisy which could due to pneumonia. Perhaps you overdid one of your upper body exercise routines (although this shouldn't usually cause pleurisy or painful breathing). Bottom line, you need to see your Family Doc for complete & thorough evaluation.
Have sever swelling under armpit not lump. Goes from part of arm pit down side of chest what could this be?
Hidradinitis: The most common form of armpit swelling comes from lympn gland involvement either from an infection of nodes or metastasis from chest or arm primaries. Another cause is hidradenitis where sweat glands in the armpit get secondarily infected and can produce marked swelling. Here antibiotic therapy is employed.
There is pain in my right side n left side of chest n stomach n pain in both shoulder cn you tell me what it cause?
Don't ignore: If this pain is more than mild and has begun within the past day or two, it could be an acute problem needing urgent attention. An example would be bleeding into the abdomen with irritation of the diaphragm, which often causes not only abdominal pain but shoulder pain. If it has been going on for a much longer period, it is much less likely to be immediately life-threatening- but don't ignore it!
I'm 20 year male. I have pains on my right side of chest, then left side of chest. Then right and left side of back. What is wrong? In my head or no?

Tingling in, what I assume to be, upper lungs. Only assume lungs because its upper right and left side of chest. Not constant, but almost daily.?
Tingling upper chest: Is it front or back? Could be muscular, or even reflux or vascular. Or from impingement (nerve irritation in shoulder/ neck disc compression), or lesion or even TMJ Rarely MS. Could try Ranitidine (reflux) and motrin/aleve (for impingement/muscular) if not allergic and see if helps. Consider CXR (r/o lung/lesions) and then echocardiogram if everything else is negative F/u/ w/ doc
Hi, I am 19 years old and have 55KG, I have a visible pulse on my neck (both sides), and stomach and above the right and left side of chest. Normal or?
Probably...but: Mention your concerns next time you see your provider.
Multiple things: Could be a problem with skin, nerves, muscle, shoulder, lung, heart, or stomach. See your doctor for a more thorough history, physical exam and further evaluation. If you sleep on your stomach you could have a neck strain that radiates pain to the chest or arm. Get checked out just to make sure.
Many, many things: That being said, ruling out cardiac is the most important thing to do. After that, it could be any number of internal issues, intercostal muscle spasms, reflux, pancreatitis, ulcers, lung issues. If its going all the way through from front to back, this is one of those areas you should have checked out just to be safe rather than assuming its a musculoskeletal issue.See 1 more doctor answer
Possibly: Anxiety can cause excess cortisol, os adrenaline secretion which can cause a number of symptoms, including dizziness, lightheadedness, rapid heart beat palpitations, chestpain, headaches, etc. Try calming yourself down by concentrating on slowing down your breathing over a few minutes if this doesn't help, see your primary provider for further evaluation. Good luck!
See physician: Usual causes of pain are trauma, musculosketal bruise, fx, or muscular strain.Inflammation in anterior cartilage so called costochondritis ( (viral or traumatic) can cause pain which reproduce by pushing on the involved cartilage in the front of the rib cage. Left chest pain historically associated with heart and gastrointestinal reflux. If continues see physician for examination and workup.
See your doctor: Chest pain, especially left sided can be the result of cardiac disease. Please see your doctor for an evaluation.
Chest pain: Multiple possibilities primarily in the musculoskeletal system of the thorax.
See details: The 3 most common causes are chest wall issues, cardiac or pulmonary disease, you need to have this problem evaluated by a doctor to rule more serious issues.

Unclear.: Elbow pain can come from varied conditions including musculoskeletal, rheumatological, and neurological which would include a pinched nerve. Chest pain is always a potentially very serious condition as it could represent a life threatening cardiac condition. Unless medically cleared, all complaints of chest pain should be treated as a medical emergency in an appropriate setting (e.g. Er).
