We call swelling: in this area suprapubic swelling. When the testicles seem like they are moving up this is called a retractile testicle. It is due to contraction of cremaster muscle. Hernias can cause suprapubic swelling, as can enlarged lymph nodes, and perhaps this swelling is impacting the spermatic cord which is connected to the testicles. Shouldn't: While the pelvis is all interconnected, the pubic bone is in the front, and shouldn't cause swelling. It is curious why you think this joint is unstable. You may want to ask you primary care if an imaging study would be appropriate. Sciatica is typically caused by disc disease of the spine. Hope this helps! ...Read more
