Could be sciatica: If the pain is worse with sitting and is a sharp, shooting pain associated with numbness and tingling this could indicate that you are suffering from sciatica. If you injured the leg or pulled a muscle then this could simply be a musculoskeletal injury that should resolve. If it is sciatica the pain would radiate down to the foot/ankle. Possibly: Spinal stenosis can cause your symptoms especially if you also have a bulging disc at that level. Epidural steroid injections and/or treatment with some medications may improve your pain. I would suggest consulting a pain management physician. ...Read more

Blood clots: Depending on how bad your clot was the leg could be larger forever. Though some of the swelling will go down. I don't know how long you have had this but it could be months before it improves. Your doctor can recommend pain meds based on what medication you take. ...Read more
