This : This sounds like a possible cellulitis (skin infection). You will need to be examined by a doctor and get treated. Antibiotics will clear this up if it is in fact bacterial in nature, other possibilities are herpetic lesions, allergic reaction, or even bug bites. If the issue has not resolved please seek medical attention. Best of luck and happy new year. ...Read moreSee 1 more doctor answer

Not chikungunya: This is totally unrelated to chikungunya and is a separate problem. It's a bit hard to tell from the pic but it could be a 'Staph boil' or possibly an STD if you've been having unsafe sex. More than 1 problem: Sorry about your pain. Sounds like there are at least 2 problems superimposing on each other. The buttock and hip pain could be from sciatica or a pinched nerve in your back. Severe knee swelling is not seen with these and likely due to an isolated problem that needs to be investigated and treated. You need an exam by a doctor, mri, +/- injections to get you out of pain. ...Read moreSee 1 more doctor answer
