Is it ringworm?: A biopsy is not needed for superficial fungal infections of the skin. You doctor and a skin scrapping and confirm the diagnosis. If you have had these symptoms for a year and half, it is about time that you see your doctor for evaluation and may be systemic treatment. My husband has double pneumonia and is experiencing pain in back of both arms. The pain excruciating. What would cause this.

Complications: If he has had pneumonia for at least several days, i would be concerned about possible complications like pleural effusion or emphysema, or infected fluid in the space between the lung and the chest wall.
