They enlarge in response to the inflammation they create when they react. ...Read more

Both axillary lymph nodes were very sore yesterday and now they are just very bruised. I have a head cold. Would that cause the bruising?

Especially if you have had recent weight loss, fever, night sweats, sore throat, fatigue, decreased appetite, menstrual changes or other constitutional symptoms, even if they were subtle before. Easy bruising is also a concern, especially if it is new. Please see your doc ASAP. Feel better soon! ...Read more
