I am 28 and have had i dull sometimes sharp pain in my left arm that causes my arm not to work when i am having the pain what could it be?
Strain? Nerve pain? : You could have a muscle strain, or irritation to a nerve, perhaps originating in the neck. Need more information. In any case, if this persists, you will need to see a clinician. Because if it's not clearing on its own - you should be seeing improvement over 2-4 weeks - then you will need treatment. Probably soft tissue: Assuming you have previously been healthy the source of pain is probably soft tissue irritation (ligament or muscle) causing muscle spasm in the neck.
