Diaper rash is an irritation of the skin caused by dampness, urine, or feces. Most babies who wear diapers will have some type of diaper rash. What could cause swelling of feet and ankles with bright red rash to mid calf. B p is always good 128/68, no fever. Had this exact thing month agp?
Stasis Dermatitis: This sounds like stasis dermatitis. This is a condition that is caused by compromised venous circulation. The veins in the legs loose their sturdiness as we age, decreasing the ability of those veins to return blood back up the legs to the heart for recirculation. This causes pooling of blood in the veins of the legs, swelling feet/ankles, and skin irritation (bright red rash). Get it checked. ...Read more

My son has a red rash under his penis and on his left leg. What could it be? Something i need to worry about?
Left leg really sure. X-rays show no break/chip. Now small red rash/bump on back of thigh above knee. Could this be shingles?

If this is what you see, it could be shingles and you should see a doctor right away to be placed on antiviral medication to stave off post herpetic neuralgia, a very painful condition. ...Read moreSee 1 more doctor answer
