My left leg has a spot of spiders causes me pain when i walk and step on my feet.Im female 55 yrs old.Can i know why?

No enough info: The spot that looks like spider and feet pain may or may not be related. An angioma or a bruise in the heel might hurt every time you stand on it. Otherwise there are not enough information for us to advise you. Please check it with your local physician. ...Read more

Bruised spot on lower left leg. Gradually getting bigger and darker. Shooting pain to ankle and 3 & 4 toe. Swelling constantly.

You didn't mention: how it all started, but you need to get medical help immediately if it's spreading! Don't delay. Bruises don't grow, but spider bites with venom do, and especially causing pain. Put ice on it now, elevate it. NO running, and go to the ER and get some medical help on this. Does not sound like it's going away on it's own. ...Read more

What : What you are describing sound like large telangectasias or spider veins, or may be true varicosities - it is hard to tell without looking at them. These are in a common location and can be due to reflux in the great saphenous vein or reflux from a perforating vein. In any case, you should probably have a full evaluation from a vascular surgeon or licensed phlebologist before having them treated. If they are a symptom of a larger problem (like the afore-mentioned reflux) they are unlikely to go away with pulsed light or even injection until the causitive problem is treated. In general, injection is probably more effective than pulsed light for larger veins. ...Read more

Probably not: I agree with drs. Hansen and d. Ipl might work for very fine spider veins but if your veins are bulging, you are liekly to be disappointed with the results you get from ipl. I would recommend seeing a vein specialist (phlebologist) who can evaluate your legs to make sure that there is no undersying vein trouble. If there isn't, then smaller veins can probably best be treated with sclerotherapy. ...Read more
