My 9 year old son has two painless hard lumps on his skull behind his ear, no other symptoms and seems not to be caused by an infection?
I can feel this lump at the base of my skull on the right. I've been able to feel it for a couple of weeks but it hasn't caused any pain whatsoever.?

Your son: May possibly have hair follicles inflamed causing it to be painful. Very common in children. Some do need to be treated if with fever. Otherwise self limiting. It is called follicilitis.
