See MD: Usually little lumps are fatty deposits called lipomas, but they may represent other problems, be seen and put your mind at ease. May be nothing but infected lymphnode, but should be seen. Good luck.

Lipomas??: Without an exam it would be difficult to say. It sounds like lipomas - fatty tumors. Some people have a few, some have a bunch. They can be removed if needed. They don't habe to be removed if it is determined that they are lipomas. See you doctor or surgeon to make sure.

Firm, non visible, pea size slight painful lumps near inner triceps, gracilis on thigh and lumbar area. PA-C friend said lymph nodes aren't in this area. Could be lipoma? No ins. Warrant DR visit

Yes: Moist likely a lipoma. Or maybe mini tears in your muscle that may be inflamed. Try resting the muscle and anti inflammatories like Advil (ibuprofen) four times daily for two weeks. Usually lipomas are not painful. If no improvement see your doctor.

Well: Need more history. How long has it been there? Any changes? Perhaps start with an evaluation. See what the doctor says. You may need an ultra sound. Get your evaluation and diagnosis. Start there

Pea sized lump under skin on tricep. Very light green blue, just like my veins. I think a vein runs right by it. Primary doc not concerned but I am.

Blocked gland?: A sebaceous cyst is a collection of oily fluid that occurs when an oil gland is blocked. Some folks are more prone to them than other and they often appear on the neck, shoulders, and back. Try to avoid skin products that are oily. I would also stay away from transfats and bad oils, which is good for overall health. Saunas and sweating may help a bit although I don't of data. Ask doc about it.

I have a lump on my elbow next to the elbow bone and I have an uncomfortable pain in my forearm and tricep, it doesn't look like a zit or bug bite?

I have a lump on my elbow next to the elbow bone and I have an uncomfortable pain in my forearm and tricep, it doesn't look like a zit or bug bite?

Likely bursitis: You should seek evaluation by an orthopaedic surgeon or physician focusing on musculoskeletal injuries. The image shows a typical appearance of olecranon bursitis- a common condition that usually resolves with rest, ice, anti-inflammatory medications (nsaids), and brief immobilization. Aspiration is frowned upon due to increased risk of infection, but is occasionally indicated.

I want to work on my triceps. Will that cause an imbalance for my biceps?

I want to work on my triceps. Will that cause an imbalance for my biceps?

Probably not: The two muscle groups act in concert one is a flexor, the second an extensor. Thus, you can exercise both at same time and achieve symmetry and balance.

Annoying arm feeling near triceps, what could this be? It's not really painful

Annoying arm feeling near triceps, what could this be? It's not really painful

Muscle: It is most likely due to a muscle strain/pull if the discomfort is only near your triceps. If the pain persists or worsens follow up with a doctor for an evaluation.

What could be causing sever pain and popping of the tricep muscel caused from impact with the ground symptoms are 4 days old?

Muscle pain: With a trauma and the force of a fall/impact to an area, you could certainly have suffered some injury, be it a muscle contusion, tear, strain, sprain, etc. If persists and it still hurts then get an eval with possible testing. Good luck.

Can nerve entrapment at elbow cause tricep pain?

Can nerve entrapment at elbow cause tricep pain?

Not typically: Ulnar neuropathy is a nerve entrapment at the elbow with typical symptoms of numbness of the small 1 and 1/2 fingers and weakness of the intrinsic hand muscles. Pain in the triceps can be from a herniated disc in the neck at the c7 level. Subluxation of the triceps muscle can mimic both conditions. A good physical exam, complimented by emg/ncs can confirm the diagnosis.

Extreme sharp and stabbing pain in left arm tricep. Haven't been working out just came on suddenly what could cause this?

Many things: There can be different causes for posterior elbow pain including triceps tendinitis, partial triceps tear, olecranon bursitis, elbow arthritis or even medial or lateral epicondylitis. Best to avoid the aggravating activity and have it evaluated by an orthopaedic surgeon.

It pains only when I touch, near lateral head triceps brachii. Is it fibromyalgia? Can this be the cause for the referred shoulder pain?

Local myalgia: Muscle co-contraction (i.e., muscle splinting) is a reflex protective response that is mediated through the cns. It results in muscle tightening (i.e., guarding) to protect the injured part. Usually there is no pain until the injured part is moved. To be included in the diagnosis of fm, the pain should be located in at least three out of four quadrants of the body or along the entire spine.

What can cause spontaneous muscle detachment? 54 yo male. 2 bicep, 2 tricep detachments, 5 hernias

Genetics: You could have a connective tissue disorder that is genetically determined. While many of these are probably not able to be diagnosed, some are, and include ehlers-danlos syndrome and marfans syndrome. May be just bad luck too. Sorry to hear about your disconnections.
