Anything/common cold: I would suspect that the most likely cause would be a cold, especially if they have been more active in the summer. Allergic Salute: The line may be from the repeated wiping of a runny itchy nose during childhood from allergies. Over time wiping with an upward motion of the palm by pushing up on the nose causes a horizontal line across the bridge of the nose.
