See your doctor : The grinding is generally a sign of digerati on in the facets, or neck joints. Not normal or ideal: Ideally if it were up to me no one would have headaches or eye pain. There are many causes that are possible, although in your case eye strain first springs to mind. Therefore, you should see an eye doctor also called an Opthamologist and also see a Neurologist for a thorough evaluation and examination which will likely include a MRI,for further evaluation of the headaches. Evaluate chiari: The symptoms you report are most likely due to the chiari malformation. Your shoud see a neurologist and have an MRI and magnetic resonance angiogram to determine if the blood supply to the posterior circualtion of youi brain is being compromised by pressure from the chiari malformation obststructing the brainstem as it passes through the foramen magnum. ...Read more

Yes symptom is new: Arachnoid cyst is an incidental finding. But this can be mistaken for a cystic tumor if no contrast was given. I would se someone. Since the headache is new. ...Read more
