Causes Of Non Itchy Rash On One Leg
Several causes: A non-itchy rash that stays for a long while may have several different causes, ranging from mild to more serious. Without a detailed description of the lesions, I would not even try to suggest a cause. See an internist first. Don't try to treat it y ourself.See 1 more doctor answer
Different causes: There are different causes of this type of rash includung allergy to foods, medications, etc. Have a physician or dermatologist evaluate the rash if still present. In the meantime if you're uncomfortable you could take Benadryl (diphenhydramine) for the itch but be aware that it can cause drowsiness. Claritin is less effective but does not cause drowsiness.
Bitten by non-lyme tick 8 mos ago (tick was tested). Itchy rash over legs, arms, buttocks, weight loss and night sweats. What could be the cause? Thx
Many possibilities: Besides lyme, ticks can transmit many other infections including babesia, bartonella, ehrlichina, rickettsia and other types of borrelia. The tick testing negative for lyme does not rule out other infections. But your symptoms could be unrelated to the bite too! See a doc knowledgeable in tick-borne illness. Consider seeing a doc for general evaluation too, ideally a holistic doc.See 1 more doctor answer
What causes an itchy rash with little bumps on top of my feet and redness on lower legs? Also bumps are not itching anymore, now they are dry bumps.
Allergic reaction: Usually rashes on the top of your feet are casued by some type of allergic reaction or contact dermatits. With your lower legs involved I would rule out edema/swelling as an issue as well. Your socks or shoes could be creating the rash on your feet more so if they got wet while wearing them or if you have changed soaps or detergents. If the rash persists or returns get examined by a doctor.See 1 more doctor answer
What could cause extreme itchy rash in pubic area all of a sudden? Also have random spots on stomach, arms, legs, back and buttocks. No new detergent
Itchy rashes: For skin rashes, a variety of skin conditions can present similarly with spotty itchy rashes. To get a correct diagnosis, we need to see and examine it so a correct course of treatment could be made. Spotty itchy rashes can be folliculitis, hives or eczema. They are treated differently. I would suggest you see a local physician.See 1 more doctor answer
My dad has had an itchy rash on his arms & legs for several months. He got a cortizone (hydrocortisone) shot, it cleared up & then came back. What could cause this he scratches till there are sores.
I get an itchy rash that alternates between my upper thigh for a week or two and months later I get the same rash over a tattoo on one breast.
Consider fungus: Without actually laying eyes on the rash and examining it properly, it's nearly impossible to tell for sure. But one thing that pops into my head is the possibility of a fungal infection. The places you are having the rash are places that are prone to chafing and/or lingering perspiration, which can be breeding grounds for a fungal infection. Go see your doctor for exam for proper treatment.
I have a bumpy, itchy rash on the top of my feet and on one knee. it starts out red and blotchy and then it turns my foot purple. itching is severe.?
Allergy/ trauma: Could be allergy to one or more to the meds. You are on, or from constant trauma to the area like rough clothing and such.
Itchy rash. Small bumps, lines, & splotches. Has spread over 4days to everywhere but my face. Concentrated around butt/leg. Did not change lifestyle.
Have it evaluated: There are many types and causes of skin rashes that could cause itching. Several types of inflammatory conditions of the skin, allergic reactions, and sometimes bacterial, viral or fungal infections can cause rashes on the skin. Insect bites can also be the cause of a rash on the skin. Have it evaluated by a professional and get the appropriate treatment.
Numbness with rash: The itching and rash with numbness may or may not be related. Sometimes due to nerve pathways, we perceive sensations like itching as numbness, but not usually. If the rash does not go away with an over the counter steroid cream and the numbness persists, you must see your doctor as numbness is unusual in this setting.
Rash: It can be from different things, you should see a doctor for an accurate diagnosis.See 1 more doctor answer

Needs to be seen: This could be an infection or allergy. You need to see a health care practitioner to determine the cause.
Can hydrocortizone 1% cream be applied for fading of non-itchy rash on leg which is pityriasis rosea herald patch, on skin for almost 2 months, ?
Doubtful: Hydrocortisone is helpful for itchy or inflamed rashes. We believe that pityriasis is caused by a virus and not inflammatory. I would expect a herald patch to be accompanied by others by now. You should consider that this might be another cause such as eczema or lupus. I would recommend an examination.
Can someone tell me what this flat red non-itchy rash on my legs is about? Noticed it over a month ago. Was on arms and went away but still on legs.
Not really: No one can offer specific advice without being able to visualize the rash. See a dermatologist if you are concerned.
