Causes Of My Wrist Blister
I have unexplained numbness left lips & tip of tongue few days & blisters on right wrist; pain on &off in right lung & neck below jaw. Related? Cause?
? herpes zoster: It is possible that you have developed herpes zoster, a viral infection similar to the chicken pox virus. This is becoming increasingly common and there are vaccines for this. The typical findings on clinical examination are blisters, pain and possibly numbness. See your physician for a specific diagnosis.
Keep it covered: This is usually caused by a sever pinch to the skin that breaks a small blood vessel under the skin, but does not cut the top layer of skin. A small amount of blood then accumulates under the skin. It will go away with time. You can apply ice to help with any swelling. Keep it covered with a bandaide. Resist the temptation to puncture it with a needle. This could cause an infection.
What are possible causes of the redness, swelling and small blisters on the fingers of my left hand? The affected area is the end of the fingers.
Possibly infection: More information is needed to determine the cause. What is the color of the fluid in the blisters, clear, colored? Is it painful? Redness and swelling are signs of infection and infections of the hand can spread rapidly. This can be a viral or bacterial infection, or possibly a contact dermatitis (irritation of the skin). However it is not something to wait and watch.

Hard to say: There are several possible causes. She could have rubbed it against the bed or had it pressed against a hard object during her sleep. She could have an insect bite of some sort. It could be the beginning of an infection such as chicken pox or coxsackie. Clean it with clear water and apply an antibiotic ointment. Watch for signs of infection or spreading. I have recurring small "bites", blisters, on back of hands and wrists. I sometimes see hard black specks.?
Need more info: Blisters on the backs of hands could be insect bites of some sort, but autoimmune blistering diseases like bullous pemphigoid can also do this. A more rare condition called porphyria cutanea tarda also often has blisters on the backs of the hands as the main issue, and a related disease called "pseudoporphyria" can also do this. A dermatologist will probably perform a biopsy to get some answers.
I just ask a question about bumps on my daughter wrist she said they don't itch but she is scratching them they look like little blisters with a hole?
Should be checked: The rash on the wrist should be checked by a Paediatrician or a Dermatologist. From the description it appears to be molluscum contagiosum but it needs to be seen so that a proper diagnosis and plan of action can be recommended. Though the name sounds scary it is a mild condition and it is not very contagious.See 1 more doctor answer

Burn treatment: 1st degree burns involve only the top layer of skin and generally appear as a red patch, similar to a sunburn. treatment is supportive (cool water, OTC pain meds). 2nd degree burns are deeper, very painful, and blister. Treatment is aimed at pain relief and preventing infection with Rx Silvadene (silver sulfadiazine). 3rd degree burns are very severe, painless and usually require treatment from a burn center.See 1 more doctor answer

Blisters: A blister that forms as part of a skin rash may be tiny, as small as the head of a pin, or much larger, up to one-half inch wide. Poison ivy?: Itchy rash with blisters, on back of hands and wrist could be from a few conditions. I would think about poison ivy first, and the hand and wrist could be the area of contact. Scabies is another condition to be thought of. Any contact allergy can present with this also.See 1 more doctor answer
Tiny 1-2mm very painful blister on inside of forearm near wrist. Feels like a burn. 1 cm of Redness around it. What could this be?

I have a bacon grease burn on the back of my hand and the inside of my wrist, it happened 2 days ago and there's blisters, should I pop them??
No, don't pop them!: If the area involved totals over 2sq inches, you should see a doctor for possible antibiotic to avoid infection. Antibiotic ointments are also OTC - ask pharmacist. Don't bind it or rub - use loose clean gauze to protect. If it's looking worse than it did, get to Urgent Care, doctor or ER. Hands are too useful to fool around with.
