My question is what causes the left front big muscle/vein on your neck to be larger than the right plus muscle tightness ?

Positional change.: The veins in the neck just as the veins in the rest of the body change in size depending on changes in position as well as changes in levels of hydration and changes in pressure in the chest and abdominal cavity. In the neck, the veins decrease with standing and increase with lying down. Straining or laughing increase the the pressure in the chest which can increase the size of the facial veins.

Pinched Nerve/Muscle: Most times back pain that is sudden onset will resolve. He should use anti-inflammatory meds like ibuprofen, aleve around the clock and even tylenol (acetaminophen) to help. If this does not resolve you should see your doctor for a muscle relaxant as well. If it still does not resolve, I would recommend seeing a spine specialist for a full evaluation and testing. You may need to get an MRI to see inside.

Adderall & Vyvanse (lisdexamfetamine): Both meds have been associated with muscle spasm & muscle twitching, which can cause pain in the affected areas. Discuss this side effect with prescribing doc for possible change of med or other resolution to problem.

Could sleeping on a poor pillow be the cause of tight neck muscles and tight muscles throughout the head? Have very poor posture also.

Could sleeping on a poor pillow be the cause of tight neck muscles and tight muscles throughout the head? Have very poor posture also.

Maybe? But see a doc: Many things can cause neck pain. Certainly sleeping on a pillow that's not the right fit for you can cause such things. I note that you talk about foot numbness in "conditions". That raises the possibility of disc issues in your back, and possibly your neck. To further assess that, you really need a good physical examination and some imaging to look into the issue. Please see your doctor soon.

Can tight muscles or muscle spasms in neck, shoulder or upper back cause pain down arms or tingly numb feeling arms?

Possibly: Anatomically the arms receive their control of sensation from the neck. Nerves that are irritated at the level of the neck often only result in pain traveling into one arm and not both. Given your age, it would be unlikely that there is significant degeneration to cause symptoms in both arms. Discuss with your pcp.

See a doctor: Symptoms of neck pain with a "shooting" characteristic can be related to anything from a pulled muscle of the neck to a pinched nerve. It may be useful to follow up with your doctor if symptoms do not seem to be improving in a few days or if they worsen in severity. Over the counter pain relievers, heat/cold therapy, and gentle stretching may help relieve the pain prior to a visit.

Can a almost reversed cervical spine, a curve in my spine & partial sacrilization of mylumbo sacral joint cause severe back pain with muscle tightness?

See Spine Specialist: Many people have anatomical variances in their spine like you, however not everyone of those people has or will have pain. Since this has been bothering you enough, i would suggest seeing a pain ; spine specialist to see what exactly is bothering you to see what they can do to help with your pain.

What would you suggest for tight muscles caused by tension...and I also have a herniated disc at L5 S1 and suffer with sciatica. Neck position for sle?

Muscle tension: If you wish to avoid taking muscle relaxants like flexeril or robaxin, (methocarbamol) consider stress management therapy. Wearing a soft cervical collar off and on takes pressure of the neck. For sciatic pain which is chronic, epidural corticosteroid injections and/or surgery may be needed and follow up with a neurosurgeon is advisable.

A sharp pain for 30 secs or so, like muscle spasm, extending from left chest to left shoulder and neck. same muscle tightness taking deep breaths 30 mins after the initial pain, should I worry?

You are young: Of course, people tend to worry about left chest pain being cardiac in origin. This would not be common at your age (but not impossible). In broad overview, sharp, short pains are less often of serious cause unless pain is quite severe and/or associated with other abnormalities. Ultimately, cannot diagnose this way; so, if concerned then have it evaluated.
