I have a mass on my anus, it is external as far as i can tell. It is very painful and swells bad (glofball sized). Now having blood. What could it be?
Pain in the back end: Bleeding and pain with bm, along with a mass is likely clotted external hemorrhoids. Internal hemorrhoid usually does not hurt and blood is often found coating the stool rather than mixing with it. Thrombosed external hemorrhoids and fissures are truly pain in the _ _ _ but not dangerous, and can be treated. Consult doc for eval and treatment. Good luck. ...Read more

Weight loss medication, orlistat, is well known to cause "oily spotting" & inability to control bowel movement. if this doesn't answer your Q, write back ...Read more

Rectal prolapse: Exact causes are unknown in most cases. Rectal prolapse is generally more common in elderly women, although it may occur at any age and in both sexes.
