What would cause numbness and tingling in forearms/hands and lower leg/feet bilaterally and face and lips and some random chest pain?

What would cause numbness and tingling in forearms/hands and lower leg/feet bilaterally and face and lips and some random chest pain?

Sounds vascular: You should take these symptoms seriously and see a doctor. Circulation may be an issue and chest pain is a signal to get attention now. There is no reason to ignore it. If it is severe, go to an urgent care clinic or er. Best wishes - it may be nothing serious, but don't risk your life on that. ...Read more

What would cause numbness and tingling n ur arms and legs?

What would cause numbness and tingling n ur arms and legs?

Many things: One thing is a peripheral neuropathy, but that usually starts in the feet, later gets into the fingers. It's not really arms and legs, but more a "feet then hands" kind of thing. Certain meds can do it, too. Discuss with your doc if persistent and/or worsening. ...Read more

Symptoms of bowelmovements of only mucus and jelly fish like things. leg arm feet numbness and tingling. upper and lower back pain. wbc of 14.8?

Symptoms of bowelmovements of only mucus and jelly fish like things. leg arm feet numbness and tingling. upper and lower back pain. wbc of 14.8?

This requires eval: Your symptoms and signs (white count of 14,800) are numerous and only an in-person evaluation/examination can adequately assess them. I might think of some form of infectious colitis with your mucus BM's and elevated WBC count; the numbness/tingling and pain could be something entirely different. I believe the best advice is go to ER (or your doc's office if you can get in today!) Good wishes:) ...Read more

I have numbness and tingling in my left thigh and it feels like a rubber band is around my left groin which is worse during menstration. Caused by?

I have numbness and tingling in my left thigh and it feels like a rubber band is around my left groin which is worse during menstration. Caused by?

I would guess this is coming from your back.: The nerve supply for these areas comes out of the low back. You can be worse during your menstrual cycle because of the extra fluid and pelvic congestion will add pressure to the nerves. Sometimes the tingling on the thigh is specific to a nerve called the lateral femoral cutaneous nerve. It is fairly common with tight clothes or people employed that lean against the counter or have a heavy toolbelt. If it's really bothering you a lot you should go see your doctor and get checked out for the possibility of a lumbar disc. ...Read more

I have a dull aching pain in my lower back (left side) I have numbness and tingling in my left thigh down to my knee. ?

I have a dull aching pain in my lower back (left side) I have numbness and tingling in my left thigh down to my knee. ?

Unpinch the nerve.: Sounds like you have a disk herniation. As long as the pain is tolerable, and you do not have progressive increasing weakness, or lose the ability to control the bladder or bowels, the vast majority of disk herniations can be treated without surgery. I recommend you get a good exam by a spine specialist, then follow instructions on use of medications, stretchs and activities modifications. ...Read more

After a 15 hour flight to Australia the skin on the shin and top of my foot has numbness and tingling. Now ongoing for 2 weeks. Cause for concern?

I have numbness and tingling sensation in my leg when I got up to walk i had trouble and I couldnt feel it and I almost fell who should I see for this?

I have numbness and tingling sensation in my leg when I got up to walk i had trouble and I couldnt feel it and I almost fell who should I see for this?

Could be normal: You might have just compressed your sciatic nerve - the main nerve from your spine that extends all the way to the toes. Sometimes you can sit on this nerve "wrong" and cause compression and a transient tingling and numbness. If this only happens with certain seated positions, then I wouldn't worry. If you have random tingling, numbness, pain, or esp weakness, then go see a Primary Care doc. ...Read more
