Causes Of Low Pulse Pressure
My pulse pressure runs consistently low. 20-30 , sometimes even a little lower. I.E. 99/77 BPM 93 . Is this considered dangerous ? I feel ok.

Same as elevated BP: Widened pulse pressure is a marker of cardiovascular mortality. Must be evaluated in context of other "blood pressures" systolic, diastolic and mean bp. Must figure personal characteristics such as height and known atherosclerotic stiffness. If pulse pressure is 120 you must have HTN and this should be treated down to goal. It depends: As in what the cause of a low/narrow pulse pressure is. Extremely low pulse pressures like you mention can be related to congestive heart failure, shock, aortic stenosis(narrow of the major outlet valve of the heart) or other things like fluid around the heart affecting how the heart pumps(cardiac tamponade).
