Heat exhaustion: A place to start to guess which might be a simple explanation - could be dehydration - that would make one tired, and would make your throat dry. No: A vocal fold nodule is the result of voice abuse, voice misuse, or rarely a tiny bleed into the vocal fold. It is a thickening of the lining surface of the vocal fold.
