I have numbness and tingling in my left thigh and it feels like a rubber band is around my left groin which is worse during menstration. Caused by?

I would guess this is coming from your back.: The nerve supply for these areas comes out of the low back. You can be worse during your menstrual cycle because of the extra fluid and pelvic congestion will add pressure to the nerves. Sometimes the tingling on the thigh is specific to a nerve called the lateral femoral cutaneous nerve. It is fairly common with tight clothes or people employed that lean against the counter or have a heavy toolbelt. If it's really bothering you a lot you should go see your doctor and get checked out for the possibility of a lumbar disc. ...Read more

B12 is low: This B12 level is low and needs replacement. B12 deficiency can cause numbness, and tingling in arms and legs. Since you only experience these on the left side, you need a proper exam by a neurologist. She may suggest a brain with/out spine MRI for further evaluation. If you do not have dietary deficiency of b12, she may also check for poor B12 absorption. Please see comment for cholesterol. ...Read more

I have a dull aching pain in my lower back (left side) I have numbness and tingling in my left thigh down to my knee. ?

Unpinch the nerve.: Sounds like you have a disk herniation. As long as the pain is tolerable, and you do not have progressive increasing weakness, or lose the ability to control the bladder or bowels, the vast majority of disk herniations can be treated without surgery. I recommend you get a good exam by a spine specialist, then follow instructions on use of medications, stretchs and activities modifications. ...Read more
