Knee surgery?: So long as nothing else is happening such as swelling, increasing redness, warmth in the knee....then, depending on what kind of procedure you've had there may some postop issues that are trying to settle out. Maybe: Persistent muscle twitching can be due to overuse of the muscle, or irritation of the nerve going to that muscle. It may be fatigue or it may be a deficiency of calcium, magnesium or potassium. If there is more to these symptoms then you should visit your PCP.

Get it evaluated: That's my opinion. You could get some labs done and a good neuromuscular examination (maybe by a good neurologist) and get appropriate diagnostic testing. No- pain HURTS: Weakness is lack of STRENGTH...pain is not a prominent feature of weakness therefore, should not be considered weakness...just because people are less likely to do things making them APPEAR WEAK.....see the difference? ...Read more
