Causes Of Itchy Bumps On Achilles Tendon
Itchy bumps on the both achilles' tendons, flesh colored, bleed when scratched. Not spreading, but not going away. Live in cold chicago.
Without seeing: The lesions I am not sure what they are. Any lesion that would bleed though would concern me and I would likely biopsy for definitive diagnosis and treatment. In that region I would perform a shave biopsy of one of the lesions.
Hi is it possible to be allergic to certain shoes? I have itchy bumps on both my Achilles' tendons and up both legs...? Thanks
Allergy to anything: Is possible, Why? Allergy reflects a human response, often involving immune system, & humans (as sensitive intelligent creatures) can respond in all kinds of ways to almost any stimulus, situation or thing. All this is coordinated at a mind/brain level, yet often promoted as only a mysterious body response with treatments for only symptom (s) offered/promoted. Bigger picture routinely more helpful.
Irritation: If the shoes rubs on the tendon it can irritate the skin and create an itching feeling.See 1 more doctor answer
Itchy red bite-like blotch on Achilles' tendon. Thought it was a bite. Hasn't gone away in 3weeks. Size of thumb, bumpy?
Hard to say: Without seeing it, but I'd advise you to have it checked out since it doesn't belong. If you wanted to try something prior to seeing a doctor I would try a topical OTC steroid cream. I.e 1percent hydrocortisone.
Hives of rash: There are many causes, and it is best to be seen by a doctor for proper diagnosis and treatment.
Fungal disease: Itchy, painful bumps on the toes may be caused by a fungal disease. You may also have contact dermatitis. See a podiatrist for evaluation, possible culture, and treatment with medication. In the meantime, keep your feet dry, allow them some sunshine and air, and try zeasorb powder in your shoes to absorb moisture.See 1 more doctor answer
Rash: Your rash needs to be looked at to identify it and be able to help you, see your doctor.
Many possibilities: Hives localized to the inner thighs may be due to multiple causes. The area is warm and one thigh can rub against the other. It can be due to cloth or chemicals in pants, just to give a few examples. Wear non-tight pants; when itchy, apply Sarna with pramoxime. Otherwise, keep dry with cornstarch or talc. Take an antihistamine such as fexofenadine or cetirizine. No help - see your physician.
See your doctor: Your doctor will have to examine your skin personally to make the correct diagnosis.
Molluscum: Be suspicious its molluscum, and get it checked.
If I didn't get the head of a tick out of my crown of my head can ot cause itchy bumps on the crown of my head?
Get it out: Yes it can cause itchy bumps and even a secondary infection. You need to get all of the insect parts out.
Nickel allergy: Nickel allergy from the snaps on blue jeans or a metal belt buckle is a common cause of an itchy red rash near the umbilicus (belly button). A dermatologist or allergist can confirm using an allergy patch test.
