Small or large?: Doesn't really make a lot of difference, but i suspect colonoscopy found ulcers in large intestine and your doc felt they might look like crohn's. NSAID, etc.: The most common reason for ulcers in the intestines is from nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory medications (nsaids, ibuprofen, naproxen, et.). Other possibilities include crohn's disease, or many other possibilities, including infections. If this is NSAID induced, the treatment is avoidance of nsaids. If this is infection, it will resolve.
