Sacroiliac ligament: Sounds like you are having referred pain from sacroiliac (SI) dysfunction. Would be good to be evaluated for this by your family doctor. Types of Pain: Three different pains- Sharp, localized pain, and dull and generalized pain, and burning and tingling pain. Depending on the quality of the pain it suggests different causes, If it is sharp and localized, it suggests muscle sprain, if it is dull and general, it suggests visceral pain (ovaries/uterus/colon), it is burning, tingling, it could be nerve pain, 'pinched nerves.' Hip rotation/spasm: Sitting all day, it's the new american sickness. Our bodies were simply not meant to sit. Unfortunately for those of us that have to, that usually means that over time, we will develop pain. You can see an osteopathic doctor (do) who practices omt, or a chiropractor who can do hip manipulation. In addition, muscle relaxers from your doc may help. Heat, stretching, getting up will help.
