A few things.: Unfortunately, the sensation of incomplete emptying does not readily point to its cause. You could be retaining urine, as you sense, either due to obstruction of the bladder outlet or inability of the bladder to squeeze. However, you could have an overactive, irritated, or infected bladder, which would give you the sensation of needing to void, but with minimal urine. An evaluation should help you. ...Read more

Depends: Where does the burning occur? If it is at the very outside, around your labia, it could be due to yeast, an infection, or irritation from a soap, perfume, detergent, fabric softener, etc. It may still be a uti though so you need to get checked for that and treated. Could solely raised bladder neck cause - frequent urination/feeling never empty, pressure, knot feel? Flomax (tamsulosin) not helping or other meds.

See remark: The question is not clear? By raised bladder neck you
mean bladder neck contracture (obsruction), the answer is YES! You are relatively young for having this problem. Yes, it causes everything you descibe.

Many possibilities: For a lady of 21, possibilities include urinary tract infection that feels like retention but the frequency & slow trickle are due to irritation when the bladder is actually empty. Of course recent childbirth could cause this due to local trauma caused by birthing procedure. Stones of bladder, not kidney, are possible though less likely. Meds used to decrease urine frequency&decongestants can do it. ...Read more
