Hemoglobinuria....: Is simply the presence of hemoglobin in the urine, and can be seen in any condition that results in intravascular hemolysis. It is not a specific finding. Indeed it can be seen in thalassemias, where red cells are more prone to oxidant stress and mechanical disruption. There many intrinsic and extrinsic reasons for hemolysis to occur.
