Doctor insights on:
Causes Of Heart Spots
Palpitations: You are having palpitations, which can be caused by many things, including thyroid issues, anxiety, arrhythmias, caffeine, hypoglycemia, among many other things. You need to be evaluated both with blood tests and possibly with a 24 hour monitor called a holter monitor to see what the heart is doing during these episodes from an electrical standpoint.See 1 more doctor answer
Is arm pain that happens when standing and lowering arms by side caused by bad circulation or heart related? Also get white blotchy spots on arms.
Normal: You are seeing "stars". Like they draw on cartoons.
What causes neck pain, burning pain in left shoulder tip where it meets the arm, and a burning spot near bicep? Fear reduced blood flow. PCP says heart ok
Evaluate Neck: If you are not improving have your doctor order a cervical spine mri. Many times a herniated disc in the neck can cause arm pain especially if you have not improved with the medications and physical therapy. If it is a herniated disc you may need evaluation from a spine specialist to determine what other options might be needed (injections, surgery, etc) to help reduce pain.See 1 more doctor answer
Not normal.: Please see your doctor.Get a more detailed answer ›
Purple spots?: It's hard to be certain by your description, but your words, "purple spots" make me concerned about a condition called "purpura". These are due to bleeding under the skin and suggest insufficient number of platelets. This is a serious condition. You need to be seen asap. This is a pretty good reason to go to the er!See 1 more doctor answer
Whoa: This isn't a standard term. Find another doctor who'll tell you what it means. I see you have had a cardiac cath. Get the actual report and talk about it with your primary care physician.
I had a pacemaker put in April 1 to slow my heart rate down and not sure how far he put it in feeling hard spots on my chest?
I had a echo stresstest done and during the test I saw black spots on my heart. Probably the size of dime or nickel. What could the black spots be?
Dark heart shapped spots under my skin near my armpits. First appeared a month ago under one arm and now its under my other arm. Idk what it could be?
Dark spots under arm: Dark skin at your armpits can occur due to shaving, chemical irritation or ingrown hairs. People who have diabetes and are obese may have acanthosis nigricans, where pigmentation may occur at the underarms and neck. If the skin feels and otherwise looks okay, you can watch it for now, but if it continues to spread, a doctor should check it. Avoid hair removal creams and other harsh chemicals.
Dizziness upon standing, also a slower heart rate upon standing. Feels as if my heart has to catch up. Vision also is blurred with spots. Help please?
See your doctor: This problem has to do with circulation, and difficulty getting blood to your brain and eyes when you stand up. It is called orthostatic hypotension, and needs to be addressed by your primary care doctor.
Few possibilities: Depending on the nature of the white spots (size, location, flat/raised, quantity), it is likely either a fungal infection such as candida (commonly), or possibly apthous ulcers. A dentist or physician should be able to identify the cause and provide appropriate treatment. If it is a fungal infection you would need medication. If ulcers, it is self limiting but medication will help alleviate pain.See 1 more doctor answer
I felt a sharp pain in my heart and after that I started noticing spots like bruises on my chest I'm scared what can it be?
I have dysautonomia, all day today my heart rate is ~56bpm & I have been cold, my skin has red/purple spots. This is the opposite of my usual. Any advice on how to regulate and raise my pulse/ temp?
56=ok: There's nothing wrong with a heart rate of 56 - don't try to change it. I suggest you wear warmer clothing - it will make you more comfortable, probably will make the red/purple spots go away, is free/inexpensive, has no side effects, and won't interact with your other meds.See 1 more doctor answer
I was in the hospital two weeks ago with chest pain. The doctor said I had black spots on my heart. I constantly have chest pain. What are the spots?
Spots: I have no idea what your doctor meant about black spots. That is not a terminology we use. You'll have to ask your doc about it.
Anytime I do any type of physical activity, even just walking to the kitchen, I get extremely dizzy. I don't get up too fast. I have enough fluid intake. My heart seems to beat out of my chest at night time. When I get dizzy, my vision gets spots in it.
Dizzy: You need to see a Doc for evaluation, without a history, physical and likely some testing; your diagnosis isn't going to be made.
White spots underskin. Not rising...completely underskin on arms and legs. What is it and is it something to do with my heart? Very nervous
No: There is virtually no known heart disease that causes a white spotted rash. Impossible to diagnose your spots without seeing them but tinea versicolor comes to mind. I've uploaded a picture which should be visible to you. Also, here's a link: https://www. Aad.
