Surprising issues: Most cases of b-12 deficiency occur in older age group. Who made this diagnosis? Need to check b-12 and methyl melonic acid levels. If hand weakness on one or both sides, could be due to nerve compression at wrist or elbow, and may be carpal tunnel.. See a well versed internist and address all of this. TFCC tears are...: not easily diagnosed, or, unfortunately, treated. Since you have this diagnosis, I assume you've already seen an orthopedist and/or a physical therapist. Spasms and weakness: This could be related to thyroid and/or electrolyte levels (sodium, magnesium, potassium, etc.) but usually this is global not specifically in one arm or leg. You should first be evaluated by a medical professional as this could be a symptom of a nerve root being compressed from a disc, seizure or stroke which could be very serious.
