Nobody: Knows what causes this potentially debilitating condition. The drug you take is among the many that r used for the condition. I am convinced that parkinson's ms and thyrotoxicosis were eliminated. You should have a second opinion, possibly check with a univ. Based neurology group even consider mayo clinic. Was dbs (deep brain stimulation) discussed with you as a last resort? Look up the net! ...Read more

Benign: Shudder attacks are benign and mean nothing. They usually disappear spontaneously in a few years. There is no life long issues and they do not turn into seizures. See your Pediatrician, if the diagnosis is confirmed, you have nothing to worry about. It will get better by itself. ...Read more
